An early start for Danny Hirst from Hirst Locksmiths this morning. Danny had a call out to a commercial property in Kelso just as the sun was up 🌞. The issue was a failed mortice lock where the internal levers and had literally collapsed. It wasn’t too much of an issue and the customer was back in the property to start work within 10 minutes or so.
Second job of the day was in Bowden. The customer got in touch a couple of weeks back to see if Danny Hirst from Hirst Locksmiths of Galashiels could make some keys to replace the one she lost for an antique cabinet. With some patience and trials, Danny got there in the end. The customer is over the moon that she can now use the unit as intended. Danny is actually going to make a couple more spare, just in case! 😉
