Busy day back at work after a couple of days away! Three jobs turned into five for Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmiths.
Danny Hirst started the day with a booked appointment at a property between #galashiels & #Lauder. It was a fairly quick job replacing a mortice dead bolt. On the way to my second job Hirst Locksmith in Galashiels had an emergency call out to the other side of Lauder from a mother locked out with her young toddler. Danny Hirst got in touch with the customer for my second job to say he would be slightly delayed, which they completely understood. 🤝
Arriving at the property, Danny Hirst assessed the snapped key in the lock. Within a couple of minutes he had the key removed and the door open. There was an issue with the cylinder so the customer was happy for him to replace it. Whilst there, she also got me to look at the back door. This lock had a very similar issue so Hirst Locksmiths also replaced that one. The customer was over the moon and happy with the quick service. Danny Hirst then set off to a regular customer near #abbotsfordhouse to replace a mortice Sash lock. Again, another quick job but whilst finishing off he was asked to do another job before leaving. The customer had a trailer that he had lost the hatch key for. Within a few minutes the hatch was open. 😎
Last job of the day was in #Hawick for a door realignment. This was much to the customers delight as he thought he needed a new locking system!
