Just back in from a busy day of booked appointments! 😃
First job of the day Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmiths in Galashiels was just south of the Border in Branxton. As you can see from the photo, the cylinder had completely failed when the customer put the key into the lock. They now have a new lock and five keys! 🔑
Second job of the day was in Earlston for a patio door handle that was falling apart. All that was required was to replace the screws that had fallen off on the inside of the handles body.
Danny was then across to Galashiels to fill some holes in the door frame of a job he was at last week. A new locking system he fitted meant adjusting the positioning of the door frame keeps. At the time Danny didn’t have the right colour wood filler, so he got some ordered and went back to fill the holes, free of charge!
Last job of the day was measuring up of some locks that need replacing in a holiday cottage in Bowden. Tonight Danny will get them on order to fit on Friday.
