Unfortunately this Lock had its last day of use today. The current owner said the lock had lasted at least the whole time she has lived there (40+ years)! So it had a good innings.

I have replaced it with a nice brass coloured Yale Sash lock. I had to spend some time realigning the key hole and spindle hole, but the costumer was more than happy with the outcome. If you have an issue with your current lock, I can give you an accurate quote of what it would be to replace it. Remember, if your lock is not operating as it should, this could void your house insurance!

After finishing this job in Jedburgh, I drove over to a customers house in Lauder to do some handyman jobs which included re-hanging an internal door and cutting/laying over 20 meters worth of beading!
