New locking strip fitted with stunning views. Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmiths was at a job near Bonchester Bridge today. The job; to open a deadlocked back door and replace the locking strip.
Within 20 minutes of arrival, Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmith in Galashiels had the door open. To Danny’s surprise, he was welcomed with a stunning view of the valley when he got the door open! He then replaced the locking strip and realigned the door keeps and that was it; the door now locks/unlocks as it should!
The day then took an unexpected turn with an emergency call out to Galashiels to replace a faulty cylinder so the customer could get to work. Once finished, Danny Hirst then carried on with the rest of the days booked appointments.
Both remaining jobs were in Kelso. The first one to replace a horizontal mortice sash lock and garage door sash lock, ; and the last to refit a handle that had fallen off at a dental practice.
