Planning a Locksmith Appointment in the Scottish Borders?
Hirst Locksmiths would like to remind customers that there will be a temporary change to emergency locksmith availability from 8 October 2026.
From this date, Hirst Locksmiths will not be available for emergency call-outs. However, customers can still contact Danny Hirst throughout the closure to discuss future work and arrange appointments.
Appointments are available to be booked from 19 October 2026 onwards.

This is particularly useful for customers who already know they need a lock replacement, lock upgrade, door adjustment, security work or another locksmith service and would like to arrange an appointment for when Hirst Locksmiths returns to normal availability.
