I had three jobs today with two of them resolved without any new parts or locks! First job was in Jedburgh that required a new euro cylinder. The customer was over the moon as the old lock had been very temperamental for about six months!

I then nipped across to Denholm to a customer who’s sliding patio door would not lock and hadn’t done so for some time. I stripped the locking strip down, gave it a good service and made some minor adjustments to the engagement mechanism. Now the door locks and the customer can feel safe when going to bed.

The last job of the day was in Melrose for a property management company. The main door to an apartment building had dropped significantly and could not be closed without forcing it. Had this been left, more damage would have been caused. The door now closes with no issues whatsoever!
