Danny Hirst (Head Locksmith) from Hirst Locksmiths in Galashiels started the day off in Kirk Yetholm to fit a replacement gearbox on a customers UPVC garage door.
Danny was then across in Hawick to fit a complete locking strip and euro cylinder from a job Danny looked at last week. The customer is glad to not live in fear of being locked out/in anymore! 😅
Broadmeadows just outside Selkirk was next on the itinerary to replace a temperamental mortice lock.
Danny finished the day attending a call out for a customer that called this morning. Their front door had deadlocked and could not be opened at all. Within minutes, Danny had the door open and found the gearbox had failed. With a temporary system fitted until the new part arrives, the door can now be locked/unlocked, opened/closed.
