😎🕺 New Hirst Locksmiths jacket day! 🕺😎

The new jacket was definitely needed today with the cold, crisp weather! As it was so cold, Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmiths thought he would start the day picking up a coffee from Dragonfly Cafe in #earlston. Whilst there Danny was asked to have a look at an issue with one of their locks. He was happy to help out a neighbouring business! 😄

Once on the road with his #bestcoffeeintheborders from Dragonfly Cafe, he set off for #peebles. The job was to open a deadlocked door and replace the gearbox. Whilst there, Hirst Locksmith in Galashiels also adjusted another door in the conservatory.

On route to his second job in #townyetholm Danny Hirst had a call out to #kelso. It was only a quick job to fix a set of handles so he stopped there first. Once finished and heading down towards the border, the views of the snow capped #cheviothills was very impressive! The skies were clear and the sun was out! After measuring up for a new lock, Danny Hirst was heading home when another couple of jobs came in for tomorrow.

Once home, he sat down to have a cup of tea and start on the daily admin side of the business which usually takes a couple of hours a day. Ten minutes in and the phone rings! That was Hirst Locksmiths then off to #stow! A quick lock change and a service of a few locks and Danny was on my way back home; again! He managed to get a couple of invoices done by the time the phone rang again!😅 This was another emergency call out for a door that would not locking in #galashiels. The customer was going away tonight so needed the door sorting. Thankfully it was just a door realignment issue, so he was in and out within 10 to 15 minutes.

Danny Hirst of Hirst Locksmiths is glad to say he is now home and has another hour or so of work to do, then will be tucked up in bed by 2300hrs! Tomorrow he will be in #Melrose, #oxton, #Lauder, #Tweedbank and #fountainhall. At the moment he only has a couple of jobs on Friday in #galashiels and #innerleithen, so can squeeze in another job or two if you want to book in. 👍
